THE ROMANIAN ADAPTATION OF ENDLER MULTIDIMENSIONAL ANXIETY SCALE (EMAS)
ABSTRACT
This study presents the Romanian version of Endler Multidimensional Anxiety Scale (EMAS). Psychometric properties were assessed in different clinical and non-clinical groups of adolescents and adults (N = 931) from different parts of the country. Results provide evidence for the reliability and validity of EMAS in reference to stressful and non-stressful situations for different adolescent and adult groups, being in concordance with the original version of EMAS. The study indicates that the EMAS is a useful instrument for assessing state and trait anxiety for Romanian population.
