APPLYING ECTS AT BABES-BOLYAI UNIVERSITY. A CASE STUDY
Abstract:
This paper is a case study concerning the use of European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) at Babeș-Bolyai University. It reveals how ECTS can be used as a tool for institutional reform and development. We also emphasize the impact of ECTS in creating adequate learning environments and new learning styles. Finally, a proposal of complementing real mobility with virtual mobility of programs and students between universities is strongly suggested.
