INFLUENTE ALE MEDIILOR PRENATAL SI NEONATAL
ABSTRACT
A way to determine whether sex differences in behavior are related to prenatal or neonatal events is to ask whether there are correlatiom between hormonal stimulation in such circumstances and later behavior, in adidthood. The finding that early androgen treatment conld after the adult behaviors of Rodents was replicated for many others behaviors and in several others species. The organizatiorial hypotesis implied that there would be sex differences in the structiire of the nervous system and that whether an animal possess a masculine or feminine conftguration would depend on whether it was exposed to androgen or estrogen early in development.
KEYWORDS: sexual differentiation, levels of androgen and estrogen, prenatal stress, freemartinism.
